Day 0.5

Not many ideas yet, to be honest.

I think I want to start with a flyer, maybe. Like a monthly flyer, not necessarily a schedule or a packed announcement sheet, but something more relaxed. I’m thinking about doing a flyer that is handed out once a month to give the seniors something new to look at. Something they want to read quickly but will also pack some useful information for them.

Maybe something like that.

Part of the flyer could include simple health tips. Nothing overly detailed or technical, just practical reminders that feel relevant to everyday life. Things that are useful without being preachy, and easy to understand without needing background knowledge.

Another section could focus on helping seniors feel more connected to the younger generation. There is a noticeable gap there, and it often shows up in small ways during conversations. The idea would not be to push trends or make anyone feel like they need to keep up, but more to explain what certain things mean. Why people talk the way they do, what certain slang refers to, or why certain apps or trends are popular. Almost like context rather than instruction.

This is still very much a planning phase. I am not thinking about layout, distribution, or even whether this will actually happen yet. The goal right now is to come up with ideas that are small, realistic, and respectful of the space. I feel like a flyer seems like a manageable first step. We can start here and see how it goes.

For now, this is where things sit. Day 0.5.
